Our lives are made up of stories. Millions of stories all strung together told in hundreds of ways every day. Some stories are short, some are long and detailed. Some are ordinary and quiet. Others are profound and bold. Some are stories of sorrow, others are stories of healing. There are stories that bring us to tears and others that make us laugh out loud.
For generations stories have been passed down from one person to another to remember, to honor, to connect, and to teach. On my grief support website I have created another way to remember, honor, connect, and teach.
I have created a “Stories of Healing” section to my website that shares stories from people of all walks of life with vastly different backgrounds and experiences. Each of these people have chosen to share their story of healing with me and with you in hopes that something in their story will resonate with you and help you on your journey to healing.
These stories are being offered exclusively on my grief support website – after much internal debate I chose not to include them as part of this blog. However, I do want to offer the readers of this blog the opportunity to share their stories of healing. While I am not a advocate of focusing on our stories, I do know that there is power and healing in the telling and sharing of our stories. And I know that others find much healing in reading the stories and learning from the experiences of others who are dealing with grief and sorrow.
I would love to read and to share your story of healing with all those who seek support through my website! To share your story – you can either email me at emilylong82@yahoo.com or go directly to the Submit Your Story page of healing-grief-support.com!
I know that your story of healing will touch the lives of many!
